Bank Visit

On 19th January 2015, four of our bank team visited a bank branch in Ashbourne, Co. Meath.

Outside the Branch

The bank branch had recently undergone a refurbishment and is one of only two branches (the other being in Dundrum) to have received this upgrade.  This change is part of how banking is evolving to adapt to customer needs.  The focus is now on technology.  The bank uses iPads to open accounts and there are more machines to enable quick banking without a teller.  There is also an extra ATM to reduce queues.

At our visit we were given a tour of the new bank layout.  It was much more customer friendly and made better use of the space.

We learned how to make a lodgement on the machines.  We were introduced to staff members including the bank manager.

Using Machines

At the end of our visit we went to a conference room and discussed ideas the bank visit had inspired for our own launch.  We changed our own bank layout to mimic the layout of the branch we visited.

Discussions

Thanks to everyone in the bank branch for the opportunity to visit.
